Overall, the poetry in Poetry Kanto No. 26 is a collection of well-composed and philosophical musings on life, humanity, and the natural world. It has a universal quality of theme that speaks to the transcendental nature of a cross-cultural collection of this magnitude, and a diversity of style that addresses the ever-changing quality of poetry as a literary form. It’s a lovely collection—a gallant effort by the Kanto Poetry Center to produce such a thought-provoking joournal.
