Twisted Vine is an innovative journal that supports emerging and established writers and artists who awaken and inspire us with their creative works. We encourage the integration of genres and mediums from the vast forests of fiction, poetry, creative non-fiction and art to help create new dimensions within the literary and visual arts.
The MAIS (Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies) graduate degree program at Western New Mexico University allows students from around the globe to work in and across various academic disciplines to discover common ground. It is this concept which remains the primary inspiration for Twisted Vine’s unique interdisciplinary approach to the world of literary publication. It is our hope that the tendrils of creativity from ardent writers and artists will become woven into the lives of our readers and help to bridge the gap between us all.
